Like most public libraries, your Learning Commons organizes its non-fiction books according to the Dewey Decimal Classification system.
When you locate a non-fiction book using the catalogue, a “call number” will be presented. Every non-fiction book has a call number on its spine to indicate its subject matter (e.g., “200” is religion). Fiction books are organized by the author’s last name.
If your Learning Commons does not have the book you are looking for, please inform Mr. Hodges. By collaborating with teachers, your Learning Commons strives to provide resources that support curriculum expectations and leisure reading.
