CtK Jaguar Hockey Victorious (Again)!

The girl’s hockey program celebrated the end to a long season by successfully defending their trophy from last year in the March Classic at the ICE Gardens at York University. Billed as the largest High School Hockey Tournament in Ontario, 37 teams from across the province and Nova Scotia competed. The girl’s went undefeated through the 4 game preliminary round and took first place in their pool. Playing their 5th game in 2 days in addition to their non-school playoff games this week, the girls showed true determination and tenacity in overcoming fatigue and grinding out a 3-2 victory! The coaches are proud of the teams’ camaraderie, inspired play and becoming the first team at CtK to win back to back championships! This tournament follows on the regular season success where the Lady Jags were able to advance to the Halton Region HSSAA quarter-finals in only the third year of the hockey program. The coaches again wish to thank the team and everyone else who contributed to the program during the season and we are already thinking about next year!

GO JAGS!
