 Appreciation BreakfastBy Ms. Lozowsky 2006-04-24
Room 201 was a professional and aromatic servery and cafeteria last Friday as Ms Tomaro’s first period class cooked and served a delicious breakfast. As top producers for the food drive, Mr. Martel and Mr. Orsini’s classes enjoyed pancakes, french toast, muffins, cookies, fruit and juice. It was beautifully presented and as tasty as it smelled. Kudos to all Ms Tomaro’s classes for their work in prepping the food, and especially to the first period class, as they experienced the rush to coordinate and meet time lines to serve real customers.Mr. Orsini has a long history of inspiring his classes to generosity, so it was no surprise his class was donated more than 300 items of food. Mr. Martel’s small class also worked hard and matched them in per capita donations. Many members of the SJC were instrumental in the food drive’s success: putting together boxes, sorting food, labeling boxes. SJC members and polite recruits pulled from the halls and the attendance office helped load cars and deliver the food. Thanks to all! |
