 Bishop Bergie Celebrates Year End Mass with Christ the KingBy Ms. Lozowsky

On Friday May 25, Christ the King celebrated mass. Bishop Bergie and Father Dave Wynen presided. This mass was a special event in many ways: it marked the end of the Easter season, the end of another academic year, a first visit by Bishop Bergie to our school and the blessing of our new additions. We were pleased to have Mr. Piovesan, Director of Education, and Ms Palmieri, our trustee, share in the eucharist with us. As always, the many people organizing the mass rose to the occasion to provide a beautiful Eucharist. Bishop Bergie reminded us that we are fortunate to have such an amazing choir, adding that music adds to prayer. As the saying goes, "Those who sing, pray twice". As our school population continues to grow we pray that we will also grow in faith and dedication to Christ.
