 CtK Girl’s Hockey Victorious!By Mr. Sefeldas

The girl’s hockey program celebrated a successful and rewarding finish to a long season by winning the March Classic tournament held recently at the ICE Gardens and surrounding arenas at York University. Thirty eight teams from across the province participated and from as far away as Glace Bay, NS. The CtK girl’s team put a season worth of effort together and hit their stride as they went undefeated through the round robin portion of the tournament by holding the opposition to just 1 goal over the four games which set up a climatic final against a high scoring opponent. Playing their third game of the day, everyone contributed and worked hard and the girls won the finals by a 7-5 score. Congratulations on winning our first trophy and ending the season with such inspired play. The coaches wish to thank the team and everyone else who contributed to the program during the season and we are already thinking about next year!GO JAGS! |
