In our first year the CTK swim team has proven that Jaguars can swim. Throughout the season everyone on the team has shown dedication and heart. One member’s efforts and talent in particular earned her a berth at OFSAA…Lee Anne Bruce. Throughout the season Lee Anne has always strived to do her best and has shone at each meet. At the Halton Regional Championships Lee Anne posted a person best time of 1:17.08 in the 100m back stroke, which qualified her to compete at OFSAA. Yesterday Lee Anne was on her game again posting another person best of 1:16.37 to place her 13th in her event over all at OFSSA. The coaches are very proud of Lee Anne and the rest of the swimmers. We had an exciting and thrilling swimming season. We look forward to a new season next year. Congratulations to the team and to Lee Anne. To all swimmers and new tadpole why walk when you can swim. See you at try outs next year! |
