School Councils 101
Training dates:
- November 24 - Holy Trinity Secondary School;
- November 28 - Corpus Christi Secondary
School;
- November 30 - Bishop Reding Secondary School.
(These sessions are open to all School Council members, and/or any parent in your school community, and are
specifically intended for new members to introduce how School Councils should function. Experienced Council
members sometimes attend the training, as well, which has led to some great discussion. Topics: council
structure; member roles and responsibilities; legislation affecting councils; methods for effective meetings; goal
setting; and reporting.)
