History

In Greek mythology, the Centaurs are a race of creatures that are part human and part horse.  This half-human and half-animal combination has led many to treat them as the embodiment of unity with nature.  They are the caretakers of the Earth.  Centaurs have been featured in several paintings and statues in Greek art, and have been seen on the silver screen in films such as The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe as well as Harry Potter.  And so the Centaur has long been a symbol of dignity.  Dignity is defined as the quality of deserving esteem and respect.  Those who have a sense of dignity have it given to them by those who respect what they are and what they do.  We honor and welcome all new members of CENTAUR HOUSE and wish you every opportunity to earn the respect and esteem of those around you here at CtK, both in how you act with others and in how you are seen by them.
