April 2 is World Autism Awareness day and as a school we want to recognize this day. World Autism Day is a historic day in Canada for the autistic community because it brings to light the struggles and triumphs of people on the autism spectrum. This day also unites families, schools, communities, government and professionals to make Ontario a better place for people living with ASD. We here at Christ the King strive to make our community a more inclusive environment for those of us with autism. We will be celebrating this on April 3rd at CtK.
Inspire! When we are inspired, we are at our best. Inspired ideas are so fresh, yet effortless that they seem to come from outside ourselves. We are inspired by the Holy Spirit; we are inspired by the examples of authentic people; we are inspired by beauty. It is a universal human experience.
Black History Month invites us to shift our perspective because so much history and culture is experienced from the lens of European people. We will be broadening our scope to celebrate those viewpoints we often overlook. And we will be richer for it!

It’s that time of year again and the deadline for course selections is fast approaching!
Grade 10 students and their parents are encouraged to watch the following recorded presentation: Let’s Talk About Pathways! to learn more about selecting the appropriate courses for their Grade 11 year, as they plan their educational journey and career pathway.
Students are encouraged to speak to our Student Services department, should they have any questions about course selections and choosing a pathway.
